I am from Vermont but I must confess, I dislike winter. I love coats, hats, boots, sweaters and scarves but the winter weather is not my cup of tea. It is also difficult to avoid frostbite while looking stylish. In 2020, I’m doing my best to break out of my comfort zone and be a bit more adventurous in my color, fabric and pattern choices. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite sweater finds that are fashionable, cozy and will add a little panache to a winter ensemble.
CHEVRON is an alternative option for when you don’t want to wear horizontal stripes.
ANIMAL PRINT doesn’t have to be a neutral color or strictly leopard and cheetah.
BALLOON SLEEVES add drama to the outfit, but also allow you to eat dinner.
BRIGHT COLORS are the perfect contrast against the white snow and grey slush.
FAUX FUR can be a dramatic or subtle way to elevate a sweater while also providing warmth.
