Sharing my favorite places from my winter weekend getaway to Stowe, Vermont. I went with my boyfriend, Jacob and we stayed for three days. This list is only the tip of the ice berg. There were so many great restaurants, activities and sights to experience.
Long story short, I would venture back to Stowe in a heartbeat!
Where To Stay
Location: 18 Main Street, Stowe, Vermont
The location is ideal as it’s situated in the middle of the town and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and local activities. The Inn was full of charm and historic character. There’s a year-round pool, game room, fire pits and a building dedicated for massage treatments.

What to Do
Location: 49 Depot Street, Stowe, Vermont
The building is located right across from the Green Mountain Inn. This was probably my favorite experience from the trip. I had a Theraputic Massage for 45 minutes and I wish I had added two more hours. So relaxing and the staff was incredible.
Location: 38 Main Street, Stowe, Vermont
I could have spent hours browsing this store. Not only did they have a large selection of books, they had puzzles, gifts, wrapping paper, cards and more.
Location: 38 Main Street, Stowe, Vermont
This store has everything you could think of. Speciality foods, craft beer, local wines, home decor, toys, Vermont souvenirs and an AMAZING candy selection.
Location: 37 Main Street, Stowe, Vermont
The sweetest clothing boutique filled with dresses, tees, tanks, blouses, skirts, coats, denim, purses and jewelry.
Location: 3600 Waterbury Stowe Road, Waterbury Center, Vermont
This is a short drive from the town of Stowe. One word: DONUTS. They were warm and doughy and amazing. We also enjoyed hot apple cider as we browsed the store filled with fun gifts, knick knacks and Vermont goods.
Ben & Jerry’s Waterbury Factory
Location: 1281 Waterbury-Stowe Road Route 100, Waterbury, Vermont
This is also a short drive from the town of Stowe. Unfortunately because of COVID, tours are not being conducted at this time but that doesn’t make the ice cream taste any less delicious. They also have a “Flavor Graveyard” in the back that you can browse as you lick.
Where to Eat
Breakfast
Location: 144 Main Street, Stowe, Vermont
A quick stroll from the Green Mountain Inn. They offer breakfast, lunch and a great selection of craft beer.
Location: 394 Mountain Road, Stowe, Vermont
I had an asiago bagel with ham, egg and cheese and it was delicious. I also had the chai tea and it was the perfect companion for a cold winter day.
Lunch
Location: 1859 Mountain Road, Stowe, Vermont
I recommend trying the Snowboard flight which includes all of their beer on tap. You receive 10 5oz beers and it’s a ton of fun to taste test and read about the different craft beers.
Location: 1333 Luce Hill Road, Stowe, Vermont
Grab a beer and head to the observation deck. You can sip and watch as the beer is made. Tons of history and such a cool atmosphere. “A little Austria, a lot of Vermont”.
Dinner
Location: 18 Edson Road, Stowe, Vermont
The best meal I had all weekend. Also the best mozzarella sticks and I’ve devoured A LOT of mozzarella sticks in my day. I had the Rigatoni Vodka along with a Caesar Salad and I’m still dreaming about it. The ambiance, the service, the food, everything was impeccable.
Location: 18 S. Main Street, Stowe, Vermont
We ordered to-go for this meal as the restaurant is located inside the Green Mountain Inn. My favorite dish was the Sac de Bon Bon which is a chocolate “bag” filled with chocolate mousse served with fresh fruit garnish and dessert sauces. They also have drinks to-go!
