I travel to Vermont frequently to visit my parents and friends who still reside in my hometown. It’s always a breath of fresh air (literally and figuratively) to escape the craziness of New York City and see grass, trees and animals that do not include pigeons, rats and cockroaches. Sorry to burst anyone’s bubble who thinks NYC is always glamorous (evil giggle).
One thing I loath about traveling to Vermont is the heavy, bulky coats. I love to have outerwear options, but there’s no way in hell I want to lug them five hours north. Cue Rent The Runway (RTR).
I speak about this program quite a bit, but this is a perfect example of how it saves me time and an enormous amount of effort. Instead of having to transport another suitcase, I simply shipped my outerwear picks to my home in Vermont. Then before I left, I returned them to the local UPS. The program offers free 2-day shipping and returns so by the time I get settled back in NYC, it will be time for me to place my next order.
If you are interested in trying this program, RTR frequently runs special promotions for new members. You can also cancel or pause the program at any time if you decide it is not your cup of tea. Please let me know if you have any questions about RTR and happy almost February!!
