When I first started this blog I was terrified of the costs. How was I suppose to have a new outfit EVERY single day while not breaking the bank? I love to shop but I wasn’t sure I could keep up. Truth is, that is not realistic and not a lifestyle I wish to live so I took that absurd pressure off of myself and started to work with what I had. This black sweater dress is from Abercrombie. They have been having major sales lately and currently are taking 25% off your entire purchase with the code 14989. I had never purchased anything from Abercrombie before but was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of sizing. I’m 5’7″ which is a bit on the taller side, so sometimes it’s difficult to find dresses and pants that have the proper length. This is the Black Tie Sweater Dress in a Tall Medium. I love the fit, the slit and the midi length. Here are two easy ways to make a classic black sweater dress work for every occasion. Day to night. Breakfast to dinner. Casual to dressy.

These are my go-to white sneakers from Target. Easy to clean and inexpensive so when you DO get them dirty, you won’t be too distraught.
Belt bag is from Mackage via Rent The Runway. It dresses down the look and also incredibly practical.
Sometimes when you have a belt with the same fabric and color as your dress, your waist gets lost. I love changing the belt a dress came with and replacing it with one of my own. The contrast of the leather defines the waist line and elevates the look. This belt was from another Zara piece but this is similar.
Black suede sock booties are from Steve Madden.
