A fall weekend in Vermont, is there anything better 🙂 Living in NYC for the past 4 years, I forgot how truly glorious fall is in New England. I’ve been extremely fortunate to be able to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and the activities and local restaurants around town. Here’s some inspiration the next time you’re in the Rutland, Vermont area. Wear a mask and be safe!

Saturday Itinerary

Breakfast: Speakeasy Cafe. My go-to order is an Iced Chai Latte with oat milk and a Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese

Activity: The Vermont Farmer’s Market is open from May to late October at Depot Park (9am – 2pm on Saturdays) and then moves to Vermont Farmer’s Food Center from November to May (10am – 2pm on Saturdays)

Lunch: Gill’s Deli. Order a sub to-go and bring it on your hike

Activity: Pine Hill Park. There are lots of trails to choose from, beautiful views of the mountains and a large lake to enjoy your lunch

Dinner: Hibachi at Sushi Yoshi on Killington (15 minute drive from Rutland)

Drinks: Jax Food & Games on Killington

Sunday Itinerary

Breakfast: Sugar & Spice offers a classic VT breakfast and Johnny Boys Pancake House has more diner food options

Activity: 9-holes of golf at the Rutland Country Club or if it’s a bit chilly, Stonehedge Indoor Golf

Lunch: Baxter’s Restaurant at the Rutland Country Club. My go-to order is the Maple Sriracha Wings

Dinner: Little Harry’s. My go-to order is Pad Thai with chicken or Chicken Parmesan
